overnight housing

Stepping Stone Lodge has eight bedrooms, four of them on the ground floor, accommodating a total of up to 32 overnight guests.

Each bedroom has two twin or bunk beds, with sink, mirror, closet, and dresser. A private bathroom with toilet and shower adjoins each pair of rooms.

We provide bed linens and towels. The beds have warm, cozy blankets and quilts for our guests. All the bedrooms are heated via central heating.

The Homestead is located at the entrance of Touchstone Farm. Four bedrooms are available with twin beds, outfitted with new mattresses and bedding. One exceptionally large bedroom, that was once the schoolroom for the community, can comfortably hold four twin beds. Three full bathrooms are available for use, one of which will be fully handicapped accessible with a wheelchair entry to shower. The main entrance to the Homestead is also wheelchair accessible with a ramp.

The Homestead has a large living room with a big fireplace, over which meals can be cooked. Complete with comfortable, inviting furniture and a piano, this will be the main meeting and relaxing area. A full kitchen complements the Homestead with all the amenities. A dining room that easily seats 12 people and an attached sunroom that provides space for relaxing and chatting.

Stepping Stone Lodge has a fully functional country kitchen with its own entrance.  The kitchen is fully equipped to feed up to 50 people.  It has a commercial stove and dishwasher.  Groups may choose from a variety of menu options, or may do their own cooking if desired.

The Homestead has a homestyle kitchen.  Meals can be served family style, buffet or plated, depending on the desires of the group.  We offer a full range of meals, from vegetarian or vegan fare to good old ‘family cooking’, to more elegant meals fro special events.  We can offer a barbecue or pit cooking to round out your stay.  We are happy to work with you to create a menu for your stay.  Please let us know about any food preferences, special dietary requirements, or food allergies, and we will adjust the menu accordingly.  We do our best to make use of local produce, eggs, milk and ice cream, as well as meat for our meals.  We have established relationship with local farmers from whom we buy as much as we can during the growing seasons.
