Horse Power Instructor Training
Horse Power Instructor Training School (HPITS) at Touchstone Farm is a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center. HPITS offers training programs and certification workshops for:
- Individuals who wish to become PATH Intl. certified instructors of therapeutic riding
- Instructors are already working in the field of equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) who want continuing education to improve their skills and maintain their certification
HPITS offers both an in-depth three-month course and a 10-day intensive workshop. In addition, because we are a Premier Accredited Center, we also host the PATH Intl. Onsite Workshop and Certification (OSWC) that is required for certification at the Registered level.
We also offer mentored teaching hours for individuals who need the 25 hours of practice teaching under the supervision of a certified instructor.
