Lessons and Payment
General Information
Horse Power offers Equine Facilitated Activities and Equine Facilitated Learning.
Ages
Horse Power offers a wide range of lessons which meet the therapeutic, educational, social and recreational needs of it's riders. Riders are ages 4 and up.
Ability and Levels
All abilitiess and levels accepted.
Times
Lessons begin as early as 10 am and often go into the evening hours.
Dates
Winter Lessons: Available till February 17th
Spring Lessons: March 19th - May 25th
Summer Lessons: No lessons due to Barnyard Buddies
Fall Lessons: September 10th - November 16th
Mounts
Horse Power is proud of its string of therapy horses and ponies, all of which have been carefully selected and trained to be safe, effective and pleasant equine partners for their riders.
Facility
Horse Power lessons can take place regardless of the weather or time of year due to our indoor arena and wide variety of rings.
Lesson Size
Private or semi-private or group lessons available depending on the needs of the rider. An evaluation interview will help determine what size lesson is best for the rider.
Volunteers
A team of well trained and caring Volunteers assist in many of the classes, providing good cheer, extra helping hands and vital horse handling.
Driving
Horse Power has a therapeutic driving program. In addition, we offer for those who are unable to ride or who prefer to drive carriages.
